My problem is as follows:

I have a Java-application with Wicket used for the front-end, where the user can log in through the start page.
Now that start page is going to be replaced by a wordpress page, and you should be able to log onto the java application via the wordpress page.

I have very limited experience in this type of thing, but my thought was to POST the loginname and password from the wordpress page, and handle those parameters with a service.

I did this as follows:

The service:

The mock wordpress-start page , using a simple HTML page to send the POST:

Added the bean to my applicationContext-services:

When I check localhost/api it shows:

When I run the java application, and go into the mock login-form and submit username and password, I'm shown a blank page and receive the following warning message in the console:

This is my question: How do I make the CONNECTION between the html page and the java page? I'm in no way sure that the way I'm doing it right now is the best way, or even possible ...
I'd be very thankful for any help!
