Oracle Java Stored Proceedures - loadjava not found
==================================

Oracle XE 10.2.0 , JDK 1.6 , Win XP Pro

I have no problem executing SQL , PL/SQL and JDBC.
but with Java stored procedures I have the following problems
1. DOS>loadjava : Windows cannot find the program.
2. SQL>EXEC dbms_java.setCompiler_option : "must be declared" DBMS_JAVA is not in ALL_OBJECTS.

CLASSPATH includes
.;
C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server\jdbc\lib\ojdbc14.jar; (that's the only supplied driver)
C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server

JAVA_HOME
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16

ORACLE_HOME
C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\10.2.0\server

Thank you for any help.

Oracle 10 XE has only PL/SQL, Java is not available in this version.
You must have at least Oracle Standard Edition One to use java stored procedures.
Here is a comparison of features available in various versions:
http://www.oracle.com/us/products/database/product-editions-066501.html
look at row with "Java, PL/SQL Native Compilation"

I guess you could have insufficient permissions. See the chapter about Java security in Oracle documentation (the whole document might be interesting to you).
