<hx:CommanExRowEdit> and JavaScript issue  RSS feed

Hi....I am new to JSF tech.... and I have a requirement to design a page as below:

1. I need to display the data from DB, and we are using <hxataTableEx> for this. For inplace editing of row-content we have <hx:CommanExRowEdit> used.

2. Now I have to customize the inplace editing form ( which is displayed when edit button is clicked) by enabling and disabling certain fields of it based on one of the column data "Status Cd" which is A or I or T.

I can acheive the above functionality if I could call a JavaScript function for the edit button of the page. I am not sure if I could apply the onClick funtion.

Could any body help me with this....
