I have found the following code is populating a set of items for selecting in a popup. I do not understand how?

MyConst is a class that has values of contacts and there
My_Options="My_Options"

<html ptions collection="<%=MyConst.My_Options%>" property="value" labelProperty="label" />

Thanks in advance

The collection was previously stored (probably in application scope) with that constant as the key. There might be a servlet run at startup that builds these kinds of collections and sets them to scope.

Hi Marc

You are right. The data is pulled from database and stoed as a vector object and set
req.getSession().setAttribute(My_Options,optionsTypes;

Thanks for giving timely clue..
