Hi Everyone,

I was trying to debug an application in Eclipse. I am using WebLogic 10.0. I have started the server in debug mode, added the application, published it. But when the publishing comes to an end, i get this error.

"Hot Code Replace Failed - scheme change not implemented".

I googled for this, but read that this has more to do with JAVA than Eclipse. But i haven't found a concrete solution to this.

I have attached a screen shot of the actual error message. Please do let me know on how to get over this.

This is a subject that has been discussed in this forum more than once, so I suggest that you use the Forum Search. You're a little different in that you're doing remote debugging, so the dialog doesn't offer the option to terminate the application, but the same general rules apply as in the case of local or embedded debugging. Mostly what it means is that there's a limit to how much you can alter code before you exceed the debugger's ability to follow your changes. At that point all you can do is restart the debugger. And maybe the app being debugged.
