Hi,

In my application i have to implement a navigation menu drop down, allowing a user to navigate to any page of the application to any other other. Since there are about 50 pages in different sub directories i am facing slight issues. What i currently do is that when the user clicks on the menu, i save the name of the page the user is wishing to visit in bean and redirect the user to a blank dummy page that is present at the same level as index.jsf. This page contains <h:commandLink that raise various actions present in the faces-config.xml file. I call a java script function that reads the value of the bean i saved earlier and calls the corresponding commandlink onclick function, that causes the context to navigate to the desired page. This all works perfectly fine. What happens is that as various pages contain a lot of content , there is a time when only the blank white dummy page is visible to the user, that off course is not a nice thing.

Have anyone of you people solved a problem like this, any ideas ?

Kind Regards>

I don't know what menu you are using but you can use RichFaces menu and navigate directly from it to the page.
