Exceptions declared in the throws clause

can anyone tell the number of exceptions that can be declared in the throws clause of the method in Java

And if its the case, then there's something wrong with the method, it would be doing lot of other operations as well and not specific for what it is designed for.

I mean the method is doing lot of tasks/operations/calculations.

I don't think there's a limit unless you get bored writing the code ...

and if you really wish to throw all the exceptions just try throwing one "EXCEPTION" itself ... it'll take care of the rest

The more exceptions your method throws, the less likely it is anyone is going to use it.
