Can anyone explain the pros and cons of using servlet over webserivce for Image upload business service in any ENterprise implemenating service oriented architecture?

Like why not to use servlet in a SOA implemenation approach, and why to use web service.

THe arguments in the favor of servlet are, it is fast and very easy to use.

Thanks

A

In SOA you create services and if you want to expose them over web its webservice. So even if you write servlets in SOA fashion you need webservice to communicate over web.
I would be glad to know about your thought.
