when going for a latest version exam...

If you already have older version of SCJP or other, do you think taking the complete exam of a later version gives you more percentage for passing?

complete exam:
more questions that you already know, can help pull up your passing mark (if you get lots of wrong in new topics).

upgrade exam:
you will be tested only on new topics, higher percentage of wrong answers.

if you are a scjp of earlier version, then go for a upgrade exam. this will help you to focus only on new topics which are included in new version
