Can any one suggest me free recognition tool which can embed in JSP?

In a JSP? A JSP is used for rendering an HTML view on the server. Why would you place this is a JSP?

Our requirement is to record voice of the customers from a web site? for that i need a free tool which can record voice and play.

Kindly suggest me any free software.

JSP is not going to help you. JSP runs on the server. You need something to run on the client.

Perhaps an Applet? Perhaps a Java app delivered via JNLP?

As we are using applets in our application, any applet which recognizes our voice and play back support.

Voice recognition software tends not to be free, but the commercial options probably have a Java API. Search for "voice recognition java api" and similar terms.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
