I had an applet embedded on one of my pages which resides on a web server (intranet). When I used to open the page on my PC the applet loaded fine without needing anything. I changed the class from being in the same directory as the webpage to being in a package relative to the webpage
For example, /cgi-bin/dir2/dir3/dir4, the webpage is in cgi-bin and the class file is packaged in dir2.dir3.dir4.
When I try to open the page now I get a "Authentication Required" login window popup. What do I have to do to get rid of this window since I wasn't getting it before? I don't want to rely on the client having to do anything as they didn't have to before now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Disregard last post. Apparently the applet was moved so the path specified in the webpage no longer exists.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
