Spring-Framework in Struts 1.1?

Hii right now I am using Struts 1.1 framework .
Now I would plan to Use Spring Framework in my application .
Can I Use Spring framework in struts 1.1 ?
Please I need valuable Reply

What do you want to use Spring for? Struts is an implementation of a Front Controller pattern, so you are free to implement Actions with whatever 3rd party software you want (Struts 2 lets you more fully integrate Spring).
By the way, Struts 1.1 was last updated in 2003. You may want to look at moving to a newer version to catch up on bug fixes, preferably Struts 2 if possible.
