Dear Members
I want to form remote partnership with:
(a) a SIM game developer to refine a code I have written of an informative game that targets university students and
professionals, and guide me with developing the game.
(b) an artist to do the visuals.
I sent a copy of the code I have so far written to a UK university “Head of Computing” and he said:
"This game is a very interesting idea. It's somewhat similar
to sims and many of the casual games available on mobile devices and
through facebook.
My recommendation, though, is that you need to work out the market
for it.
I see two possibilities:
1. It's a game to be sold to the end user. This might even be a
"free" game with ads that make money, as is the case with most
facebook games. In this case, the most important thing to do is
to look at how other games like this work, find out about
playability and the addictiveness of such simulation games.
Consider collaborating with an artist, too. Visuals are very
important...
I wish you good luck with this. I think it's something that could
work.” .
I code in Java. Yes I am not an expert and I work from home, but I believe the game will interest and help the targeted audience.
