hello, world!

i need some tip about a design problem that bothers me in one of my apps. i have a jtabbedpane component in
which i need to set my own defined look like background and foreground colors. its more of a design dilemma
im facing. i have used the uimanager interface to "turn off" the default style of the jtabbedpane component
like background, bordercolor, foreground etc.

my question is what would be the best colors for a jtabbedpane in its tabs when the user selects them.
at startup the tabs contains a white background and a black foreground. i dont want to use hexadecimal
values to create my own colors only those found in the SystemColor class. i am using the bellow method to set
the background and foreground in the jtabbedpane object which i then invoke through a changelistener event call.

listed below the current line is my code for the setting of the uimanager properties.

i hope i havent missed out any and explained my propblem well. any tip here will be gladly appreciated.

regards,
krillian.
