Hi I have the book Head First Java and I'm using windows 7 for everything. I believe i downloaded the correct developers package and api documentation, but I don't understand how to "add an entry to my path environment variable that points to the /bin directory" also I'm still on Chapter 1, should i be typing out these codes and running them now? If so I know this sounds insane, but howw? i know i type it out using notepad...then what? where am I supposed to find a compiler to run it
