Can someone help me to understand SOAP extensibility Model. Its bit confusing !! may be am not getting the correct idea.

SOAP is an open format with few restrictions. As SOAP Extensibility Model says -

A SOAP feature is an extension of the SOAP messaging framework



As simple as it sounds, it's quite amazing. It practically means that out-of-the-box, SOAP is featureless. Really an interesting concept. Therefore the SOAP extensibility Model is so important.
