Hello,

I just finished Chapter 3 of HF which was a Hands-On example of MVC. Now I'm going through Chapter 4 and it seems like a big mountain. I think that Hands-On examples of fully functional code will help.

I glanced at another book, Java EE 5 Development with NetBeans 6, David Heffelfinger, but

a) It is glosses over the basics because files are created automatically in their correct directories
b) Seems to be implementation-specific, i.e. pertaining to NetBeans
c) Discusses features that are too advanced, certainly beyond the scope of the exam

Please guide.

Found it on Oracle's website:

http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javaee/documentation/tutorials-137605.html

I will focus on J2EE 5 because there is no telling when the exam for J2EE 6 will appear...

Of course, I am open to other suggestions. I want to learn and at the same time, do well on the exam within a reasonable amount of time (i.e. few hours a week for a year)

I'll just stick to Your First Cup before reading HF. Everything else is so advanced......
