I need to create a PDF file with iText.
In this files i use latin and cyrillic signs. but the cyrillic signs everytimes not correct, all letter's on the same position.
in my test, the four letters ("Вода") all on the same position.

follow code doesn't work:

Font font = FontFactory.getFont(FontFactory.TIMES_ROMAN, "ISO-8859-5" , 12, com.lowagie.text.Font.NORMAL, Color.BLACK);
Paragraph header = new Paragraph("russianText", font);

i test it with ISO-8859-5, Cp1251, UTF-8 and UTF-16.

thanks

I don't think the encoding of the font plays any role in this. Can you post an SSCCE that demonstrates the problem?
