Hi All,

Could some one give pointers to start learning Android development. And I would like to know how is the market for Android?

This may be a generic question. But I think this is the right place to post.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Sandeep.

+1

I very recently did the same and they have a notepad example which is really good for getting to grips with the Android lifecycle and developing on the android in general. I highly recommend going through this before you attempt trying to build any apps.
