Most calendar widgets are JavaScript-based these days.

There are a lot (and I do mean a lot) of JavaScript based date-picker widgets. I usually use the jQuery UI date-picker widget.

Come HTML5, there will be a date input field, but for now (and for older browser support) you'll need to find a date widget you'd like to use.

Depends on what you mean by "calendar". Date pickers have already been discussed. If you meant something like Google Calendar, then the logic is straightforward (assuming one understands dates, weeks, months etc. :-). Is that what you're asking about?

What have you found during your search? A quick search for jsp calendar finds quite a few links that look like code that could be the foundation for your calendar.

thanks dear for reply , but I am not telling I found nothing , yes I found Calenders that I can use them in my web , but I am talking about events , how I could add an event to
specific day for example , so later if I view the Calender I can see the event of it .

A very superficial web search for "jsp calendar events" found http://www.hotscripts.com/category/java/jsp-servlets/calendars/
