Hi All,

I am back into forum after so many years. I have cleared SCJP in 2000 and SCWCD in 2005. I got chance to read Head First Servlet and JSP for SCWCD and i was very impressed with it.

Now i am planning to go for upgrading my certification (CX310-066)

Can you please suggest me best book so i can go for it. I have seen Head First Java was written in 2003. Is it good material for SCJP1.6 exam?

Your information is very valuable to me.

Thank You
Sanjay

For SCJP you have a SCJP Guide by the same authors of Head First Java. Also Bert Bates has authored another book for SCJP Mock exams. I feel Head First Java would be a good book for beginners and for SCJP preparation its good to have specific certification books.
