I have input as "!@#$!)(*&&*" . Basically set of special characters. I want to generate a pattern like, input followed by a number etc. For that I would have to add a escape character to each of the 11 valid special characters of reg ex in the input. Is there a method where in I pass he input and it gives me back a string which will have escape characters for each of the valid special character?
