Hi,

I am developing an area on the website where the customer can view certain files or copy to your local machine.

So far so done, the problem is that I would write to the log of the guy when he copied something to machine it (the login system is already done well)

The bank only when it must write something to copy his machine.

Do you have any idea about that?

thanks

How are you writing to log files and to the database? How are you detecting when a file is downloaded or copied?

Hi, thanks for help

So,

When someone select a file and click to copy,

I want to put recorded in the database (mysql) User Code you copied this file (I already have a table of users who can access this download area)

That still isn't clear, but for database access, I suggest you start here in the Java™ tutorials. I shall move this thread, because we usually discuss databases in a different forum.

So was the moderator who moved this thread here.
