I have an application developed by someone else.(they created a .war file which was deployed to a Websphere test server with no problems)
I can get to the login screen but I cannot sign in.
I get the above mentioned error when I try to run using myEclipse with Tomcat 6.018 on my workstation
(I have two other apps I developed this way, but I usually don't have to do anything to my development setup)
Any help would be appreciated!

this is what I use to connect where datasource=mySource in a property file

Hope this topic helps: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/mail/MessagingException?.

Thanks, I will have a look at that.
I did copy the .war file from the server to my desktop, I placed it in the directory WEBAPPS under apache then
started Tomcat and I still get the same error. I thought all the .jar files would be in the .war file.
The .war file works fine on the server.

I copied mail.jar to a folder in my build path and now it works!
