I have developed a basic crud application in Android. But I have still a long way to go till I develop good looking applications like twitter. Can you explain more about the official Twitter application for Android. How did they interface between the twitter database and the application. Can you explain the application in detail?

Is Android App really making sense? Not that android applications are not required, please help me understand difference between any application deployed on the web from the application deployed on the android OS.

Since most of the android phones are always connected to the internet, any application deployed on the web with mobile compatibility can be browsed from the phone and accessed.

Please help me understand.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
