I want to write my own code analyzer. Does anybody have any idea about it? It'll be very helpful if you have any sample program for the same.

What do you mean by a 'code analyzer'? What exactly do you want to analyze? Are you planning on analyzing the .java files or the .class files?

There are only two hard things in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-one errors

Actually I want to write analyzer which analyze the java code. It should be like findbugs but having my own validations which I can see in day-to-day life of coding. Type of grep you can say in windows.

You can write rules for an existing analyzer rather than starting from scratch. I know PMD lets you write your own rules. Not sure about FindBugs.
