Hi,

I haven't mentioned the <welcome-file-list> in web.xml, but it is finding the index.html automatically and then forwording to index.jsp page automatically eventhough i haven't write any logic in index.html.Following is my code

My doubt is how it is finding the index.html and how it is forwording the request to index.jsp?

thanks®ards

Hello,

On what server you have deployed your application. Is it a container like Tomcat or server like GlassFish?

your question was not clear or provide more details.

I do see some URL mentioned in index.html, try removing URL from index.html to find issue...

There is a topic on the ranch that deals with the same problem that you have --

Try removing meta tag, may be you can find the problem.
Move the index.htm to sub folder inside web application. Then, it cannot find that htm.
