Hi authors, i wanted to take up mobile programming as a hobby since I have a daytime job.. I'd like to know if you're book can jumpstart me into android programming.. I mean are the chapters in the book inter related and improves the previous chapters? Or chapters are organized as reference..? I'm a newbie into mobile programming, but looking at the job posting nowadays..I think android development is rising.. Thanks..

I think "Yes" provided if you have some experience in Programming -- as per the authors and the TOC says.

Knowledge on Java would be an added advantage.
