Hi Sujeeth
I've been studied to SCJWS5 about 2 months and this have been my way:
1. Sun Blue Prints http://java.sun.com/blueprints/guidelines/designing_webservices/ - You can read html or pdf - The best book about JWS, but do not read API cause cover olders versions.
2. Java Web Services: Up and Running - http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596521134
3. Certifications notes - Mikalai Zaikin http://java.boot.by/scdjws5-guide/index.html
4. Take mocks exam
5. Take oficial certification

Best Regards.

Hello Fernando,

Thank you very much for quick reply...

Which one do you suggest ? Java Web Services : Up and Running or SOA Using Web Services ?

Is, Java Web Services : Up and Running covers JEE5 or Older version ?

Thanks,
Sujeeth

Since SCDJWS 6.0 will be shortly available at prometric centers from next week, you may want to look at the objectives and go for SCDJWS 6.0 , instead of 5.0

I have both books! They are both very helpful. I think SOA Using Java Web Services is better overall, but Java Web Services Up and Running provides more on security. I think they are both enjoyable to read if you like learning Java Web Services. Although neither are close to a real study guide for this exam, they sure give you a good head start.

Is there an edition of the blueprints book linked to that covers 6.0?

Thanks,
Alex
