Hello and welcome to JavaRanch!

Could you provide us with some more information?
You mentioned an AR api, which doesn't ring any bells with me.
Also, a stack trace could be useful, as would be information regarding packaging of the Applet.

hello Jelle

am using an Action Request API(AR API).
What i exactly do is , i make an applet which uses this api. i bundle this applet and other classes that i have written in a jar file.
I use this jar in javascript. Now my problem is :- in my applet i import some classes of the Action Request API( I have kept the jar file for this Action Request API in the original java classpath). When i execute this applet in the browser, i get a class not found exception indicating that it is not able to get the classes that i import from the AR API.
I hope this clarifies the problem.
thanks Jelle for looking into my problem
