JSP Custom tags with Oracle Database

Hi All,

I am new to the JSP custom tags.. I have created a custom tag to connect to database and executing query, I am passin gthe attribute for the prepared statement, now I would like to use the resultset and disply the result in the JSP page. Please guide how to make use of my result set in JSp page

Not the best of ideas. A JSP is a poor place to put such logic. Rather, database access should be preformed in the Model layer, which is completely separate from the user interface.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick though.. Actually I am not using MVC model, just I was tryig to see if it is possible.. Can't I use the result of my tag handler class in JSP page.. Then in which scenarios I have to go for a custom tag...
