Cricket world cup 2011 starts on 19th feb My favorite is Sri Lanka. India, South Africa, Australia and Pakistan could be in semis. Australia could suprise everyone by winning again.

Australians have a never say die attitude. They bounce back from any situation and win matches.

There is a mention of training course that every player in Australia has to go in the book "Three Mistakes of My Life" and its a fact.
Nothing like that exists in any other country.

Even if Australia is bowled out for 150 in 50 overs then it means there is something wrong in pitch (I mean help to bowlers) and you can assume that the other side will not be able to make even 150...

It is not easy to any team to beat India at there home ground. There are lot of key players in Indian team-
Master Blaster - Sachin
Dangerous Mans - V Sehwagh, Y Pathan

and I bet if these players keep there current form constant then no one stop India from wining.

I hate the format of the game, from quarters its like hit or miss and the top teams will never get chance to play each other. I can't imagine the world cup without IND vs PAK match. I wish for round-robin matches among top 8 teams.

India had good chances of winning the cup like never before, they should win the cup, so Sachin can retire peacefully else we will probably seeing him again in the next world cup

The WC is boring Only media is interested I think. Also public is not getting enought tickets. Y'day police canned large rowd of people in bengaluru who were outside stadium. Demand was more and supply less. Most tickets have gone to sponsors & politicians[thanks to .richest indian politician], only 25% available to public. I go to work by stadim, y'day i saw bags, slippers on the road.

I guess India vs Ireland will be interesting. I still can't believe Ireland beat England by scoring the world's fastest world cup century. Most of the matches played so far are high scoring ones and even more interesting is that the chasing team is able to score more than that and win the game.

The bowling part of India is really awful to watch. They really need to concentrate on this part. If we talk of the India - England match and the recent match of Ireland - England, the issue is well projected. But whatever may happen, in the end, I want India to win the cup

After england loosing to ireland, now it seems the tickets were sold out for india's next match.

If india were to bat first, we should at least score 400+ with our current bowling attack, hope it is going to be a interesting match to watch.

If Ireland won over England and India didn't that mean wrong to assume that India will win cup.....It only possible when India always score 350+ run on score board otherwise India not in condition to save a match...
Its much interesting how India manage batting power If Sewhag will fail to give good start .....One more thing how Dhoni use the capability of Yashuf pathan.....he is has the capability to recover from Sewhag failure....he can change match direction....with one supporting batsman...
