You use EJBs in Struts application in exactly the same way as you would in any other J2EE application. The only difference is that you call the EJB from a Struts action rather than from a
servlet. So, from an Action class, you would:
- Get a JNDI initial context
- Look up the name of the EJB Home using that context
- Call the create() method on the EJB Home to get a reference to the EJB.
