Hi ,
I have one requirement of implementing a web service with 1 Request and N Response..

For Example :- I have one file and i want to split that particular file on a specific parameter into multiple files.
I want my service in such a way that it can respond back N number of times ..
Using SOAP Attachment it can be achieved but in that case I have to wait for the whole file to get divided into multiple and then attach those multiple files ..
I want as soon as one file is generated that should be responded back ...
I am new to Web Service..
Any help is appreciated ..
Thanks in advance..

There is no easy way to do this because the web is basically request/response oriented.

Whats wrong with generating follow-up requests in a different format after the first one has created the multiple files?

What is your client software?

If the results are text files, you could achieve great bandwidth savings by zipping the results into a single attachment.
