Hello Guys,

I am 5'7" and this is definitely short for men. so I am thinking about using insole which can give me some lift. But at the same time I feel like I am faking about my height.

So I am not able to decide if I should go for that or not. Please help.

Thanks.

People do all kinds of things to improve their appearance. Why don't you make a list of everything you can think of which people do, including lifts in the shoes, and then see whether you think that is far more radical than the other things in your list?

Indeed. Without sounding like a hippie (no burning on hippies ), I would suggest trying to embrace yourself as you are. I know a guy who is 5-5. He's one of the coolest people I know. - Steven

I'm the same height as Saurabh, but I've never cared much about my appearance so I don't wear lifts in my shoes. But on the other hand a lot of people do care about their appearance and do a wide variety of things to improve it. When you think of the sort of things that plastic surgeons are doing these days, a little height increase seems pretty tame.

It's also true that height is positively correlated with success in business, so there's another reason to wear the lifts if that's what you are looking for.

I am currently wearing one of these to the office. No one even noticed and it has done loads to my confidence.

So I walk in to this meeting wearing my high heels and even before I made my presentation, all the folks applauded. My manager walked in and informed me about my promotion. "Dont forget to mention his 500K bonus this year" said the CFO. A personal executive assistant was also hired just for me. As I left the office, the CEO handed me the keys to my new BMW. "It is only fair that you drive to the new condo we got you in style" he said.

So how was your weekend ?

If you had a goldfish swimming around in that shoe, you'd be the CEO by now.
