I have another post. I couldn't find the mapping when I did:

<html:form action="/submit.do">

when i removed the .do it worked fine. Why didn't it work with .do? someone explained it, but I didn't follow it. Something about being passed to an action class? I have an action class.

when submitting the jsp <html:form > tag appends ".do" to wat you have in action attribute. But if u also put ".do" in action attribute ,then also it will append ".do" irrespective of wat u already added.

But in web.xml it is just *.do to call actionservlet .
