Hello I hope to become a programmer and considering it my career. How is the demand for programmers working under businesses? Possible percentage or description? What should be on an application to be able to impress or what is mostly needed. How can you hold a job down as a programmer meaning what is done from day to day? Stress?

It varies by the type of business.

Show what you've learned and some project you did outside. Ideally an internship or open source contribution. But "toy"projects work too and are better than nothing.

Remember what you find fun about it. Find a way to burn off steam and relax.
