I have different modules of the project defined in Eclipse, for example

project-ejb
project-core
project-ear ( all the modules will be zipped into this ear project module )
project-jpa
project-web

I am trying to write log to an Output file

My question is when i am defining log4j.properties file, do i need to define it in each of the project modules
Where is the common path from where all the modules can read
