I like Android in Practice (http://www.manning.com/collins/). It's not out yet, but you can get an early access copy that included many of the chapters.

Do you know whether HEAD FIRST SERIES would release book on this topic or not.

Practical Android Projects by Lucas Jordan and Pieter Greyling is also a good place to start assuming you are already proficient in Java.

Sahil, it looks like a HF Android book is in the works...
