Hi!
I'm trying to install an old 2001 application called jive forums (need exactly that old version), I've installed tomcat 5.5 on ubuntu 8.04, got it to run (several files compiled right), copied mysql-connector files to classpath, but seems like something is wrong on that particular file:

org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP:
JSP FileName:/skins/admin/setup/setup2.jsp
Java FileName:/var/lib/tomcat5.5/work/Catalina/localhost/jive//org/apache/jsp/skins/admin/setup/setup2_jsp.java

An error occurred at line: 17 in the jsp file: /skins/admin/setup/setup2.jsp
Enumeration cannot be resolved

14:
15: <%!
16: private String[] getPropertyNames( DbConnectionProvider conProvider ) {
17: Enumeration enum = conProvider.propertyNames();
18: Vector v = new Vector();
19: while( enum.hasMoreElements() ) {
20: v.addElement( enum.nextElement() );

Could you suggest what's the problem? Is it mysql-connector missing, though I've copied it or something else?

Why would you suspect anything to do with the mysql connector when the error message says that it can't find the Enumeration class? Most likely, the import is missing.

Wow, 2001! No wonder the JSP has Java code in it -- that's some old and nasty code!
