Hi,

In index.jsp file I have set an attribute like

and then in same file there is frameset like

one filter class is written which is executed before going to another.jsp.
Now my question is can I access that abc request attribute in filter class ??
I tried to print values but it gives null .
I am unable to access that request attribute abc in richmail.jsp.

Please suggest me the correct way.

You can not access that attribute in your filter, the frame will cause a new request to be sent to server, that request is completely different then the previous one and hence does not contain the request attribute abc.

You can use the session to store the data that needs to be shared across requests.
