Hi,

While defining the beans in spring-config.xml I see the id and class, scope, constructor-arg, ref-bean, property-name, value etc attributes. What does the class represents. Also what other attributes represents.I am not clear on which attribute to use in which scenario and how to use. Also how to define for constructor injection, how to define for setter injection and how to inject other bean or custom object. Any ideas, suggestions, sample code. resources, links highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Matt, your questions end up being to teach you how to do entire Spring. If you have a specific question ask it. But trying to explain the entirety of Spring would take a whole book to write. Wait there are lots of books out there on Spring. Or there is also the Spring documentation pages at www.springframework.org?

Or take the Core Spring class from SpringSource, it is a great class, and great instructors. Heck, you might even get me as your instructor.

Another good place, is STS Spring Tool Suite, in a spring config xml file, you can hit ctrl-space in a bean tag, and as you scroll through the tag's attributes and hold there, the javadocs appear on the side for you to read that has great explainations.

Good Luck

Mark
