Hi

Recently I have attended a technical discussion(F2F) for a company. Its sometime in feb 2011.I was told that there will be one more round of technical round and they asked us to leave for the day as the person who has to take the interview didnot showup and they said will give a call in next week. After waiting for a week I called up to HR to find why I had no response and wil I get a call from you.HR has told that, they have sent the profile for approval and as soon as they get the approval, they wil confirm the candiature. I was worried here . I have attended only one round of technical discussion and nothing other than that. I have emailed the HR and everytime they tells the same thing(once we get the approval we wil make you an offer). Its been almost a month and I am not sure whether i should leave hopes on it or should I wait with patience.

Please advice on this.

Thnks

Keep in mind that time passes differently between you and the company. In your case, this is probably high on your priority list. For the employees in the company, they have their jobs; interviews is probably really low on their list. And even in the case of the manager, unless he/she has significant manpower pain, it's probably low on the list too (unfortunately).

It probably would be a good idea to not pester the HR person too much.

Regardless, hopefully, this isn't your only prospect -- meaning going on other interviews doesn't mean that you have given up on this one.

Henry
