Hi All,

I need help in understanding exporting (download) a file using java, struts. i.e. currently, in my application we have downloading a file option in ms excel format. If i try to open the downloaded file in microsoft office excel viewer, it doesn't recognize. If i try to open it using IBM Lotus symphony spreadsheet, it opens in xml format. Now, the requirement is that i should be able to view the downloaded file in IBM Lotus symphony spreadsheet as an excel sheet and not as XML. Can anyone please let me know how to achieve it?

Thanks in advance.
