Which certificate are important for job as a developer

please tell me whicih certificates are helpful for getting a job as a java developer. i want to know such a certificate which inclueds oracle(sql and plsql) and java(core java,servlet,jsp) knowledge. i do not want to go for DBA, i want of go for developer........

The answer is none. Certificates do not guarantee jobs. At the very best they guarantee a chance to be interviewed.

If you want your java fundamentals to be strengthened, I would suggest the SCJP

Hi sunil,
As you saying is correct that certification do not guaranteed job. but it give frequent chance of interviews call. When we apply for SCJP that time we do lot's of study and get depth knowledge, this will definitely strong you technical knowledge and crack technical interview.

And BTW, many good programmers knows databases; They may not be anywhere near as good as a DBA, but they are functional. It wouldn't hurt to go for a DBA certification, even if you probably never use it.

Thanks i will first get SCJP then i will try another certificate. rightnow i am on internship with nucleus software ltd. they give us training on sql, plsql is there any certificate related to that knowlege.... please tell me again ...... your good guidance
