I'm getting an error on the following code on line # 19 that says "cannot find symbol IOException"

What am I missing? Any help greatly appreciated.

Be careful with capitalisation. IOException, not IOexception.

Edit: whenever you get that error, it means the compiler doesn't recognise the type name. It could be because you haven't imported a necessary package...but it can also be because of typing errors, so always check that first.
