Hi Friends,

I am a Java developer by profession and want to include the quality of code by learning some industry wide best practises.
Can anybody tell me some resources from which i can learn such techniques(Like books and some useful tutuorials).
Though iam aware of some practises but such good resources always come in handy.

Thanks

Welcome to the Ranch.

A really good book in this regard is Effective Java by Josh Bloch.

Another one is Java Puzzlers by Josh Bloch and Neal Gafter. It's a series of puzzles that show you some of the more surprising corner cases of Java. You'll learn a lot about the details of Java by understanding these puzzles.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
