Regarding CX310-083
In Multiple Choice question, There are 5 choices (3 Correct and 2 wrong)
My question is Do you get Marks,
1. if You select 3 correct and 1 wrong?
or
2. if You select 2 correct and 2 wrong ?
or

How is marking distributed in this type of questions?

Hi,

You only get a point if everything is correct.

You only have to select the correct answers of course, the non-selected answers are considered to be wrong. So if you have 5 possible answers with 3 correct answers you will only get a point if you select the 3 correct answers. In all other cases you will receive 0 points for that question.

Just to point out that many of the questions will tell you how many correct answers there are e.g. it will give 5 possible answers and say "select three" - in that scenario there should be no way that you get 3 correct and 1 wrong i.e. you will have selected 4 answers.

This is obviously a big help - as Sherlock Holmes points out "When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth." - if there are 5 possible answers and you are told to select 3, if you find 2 answers that are definitely wrong then the other 3 are all correct.

Yeah, and that's why K&B SCJP book, Head First for Servlets and JSPs have more difficult exams - there is no information about number of correct answers.
