Hi All,

I have a HTMl string I want to generate PDF from that html string. I know Itext can generate PDF. Can any one guide me if it generates PDF from an html string or some other way to do this?

There are various ways to generate PDF (chiefly iText, FOP and FlyingSaucer - check the http://www.coderanch.com/how-to/java/AccessingFileFormats page). But I'm not aware of a ready-made HTML-to-PDF converter; maybe the JODConverter library if running OpenOffice in server mode is a possibility.

I have used YahpConverter with limited success in the past. I also know of PD4ML which I still need to test, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. It's not free though.
