Figured that out. I made a mistake and originally had it right, with the new constructor. It compiles fine, but when I try to run it, I'm getting this error:

How do I fix this?
Possible relevant computer system information:

Just a guess since I couldn't find the Javadocs online: line 20 currently is an incorrect method call, but you probably instead want to create an instance and assign it to a variable called "b":
The "new" makes it a constructor call instead of a method call. The declaration (and initialization) of variable "b" will get rid of the other error.

EDIT: Please forget all about this. I have decided to not use jMonkeyEngine/jMonkeyPlatform as I suspect the reason for failing is that I don't have a good enough graphics card. I am going to remove it so don't waste your time answering my question.

Please don't edit your posts after they have been replied to. It makes the replies look stupid and out of place.

As for the problem, I think you're missing a library or something.
